The long-running children's school drama series Grange Hill (1978-2008) featured a rival all-boys school called Rodney Bennett, which first appeared during the show's sixth season in 1983 and with which Grange Hill merged during the 1985 season. However, whether the school was actually named after Bennett has yet to be determined.
