The Children of Time are moving against us.
The Children of Time was the name given by the Daleks to the group of people, consisting mostly of the Doctor's companions, that opposed their plan to destroy all of reality.
Davros specifically used the name to describe only the Doctor's companions, the distinction apparently defined as any of the Doctor's friends who have travelled in the TARDIS at least once. The term may also include the members of Sarah Jane's team and Torchwood Three, who also assisted the Doctor, as well as the Doctor himself.
The Children of Time:
- The Doctor - leader
- Rose Tyler
- Captain Jack Harkness
- Sarah Jane Smith
- Martha Jones
- Mickey Smith
- Donna Noble
The Doctor's Secret Army:
- Gwen Williams
- Ianto Jones

- Luke Smith
- Jackie Tyler
- K9
- Biological Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor
- Harriet Jones
- And the Children of Time
Defenders of the Earth:

- Clyde Langer
- And the Doctor's Secret Army
Behind the scenes
- It has been announced that the five-episode story arc that will make up the third season of Torchwood will be titled Children of Earth. It remains to be seen whether this is a reference to Children of Time.
