On 13 March, a number of things set in or relevant to the Doctor Who universe were released or published.
- 1965 - "Invasion" was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1971 - Episode one of The Claws of Axos was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1971 - Part four of Gemini Plan was first published in Countdown.
- 1975 - The novelisation of Robot was first published by Target Books. It was the first novelisation of a Fourth Doctor serial and the first novelisation to be published during the same television season in which the adapted serial was actually broadcast.
- 1976 - Part seven of TV Comic story Virus was first released in issue 1265. This appears to be one of the only issued of TV Comic that was not published with the broadcast of a episode of 'Who.
- 1986 - The novelisation of The Twin Dilemma was first published by Target Books.
- 2009 - The Sarah Jane Adventures mini-episode From Raxacoricofallapatorius With Love was first broadcast for Comic Relief's Red Nose Day. This was the first mini-episode to be based upon a spinoff of Doctor Who. David Tennant co-hosted the main BBC broadcast of Red Nose Day with Davina McCall, introducing the SJA mini-episode and taking part in a Doctor Who-themed round of the quiz show Mastermind.
- 2012 - GAME: Worlds in Time was first officially released by BBC Worldwide, although a preview had been available to the public since 20 December 2011.
- 2012 - The Face of Evil was released on Region 1 DVD.
