Delphon was a planet visited by the Doctor sometime before his third incarnation. (TV: Spearhead from Space) It had at least one sentient species.
This species was distinguished by communicating using the movement of their eyebrows. This language was also identified by the Third Doctor as "Delphon" when he demonstrated the phrase "How are you?" in the language. (TV: Spearhead from Space, AUDIO: ...ish) This was because the Fendahl Predator, a memeovore that fed on concepts, ate their ability to communicate. (PROSE: The Taking of Planet 5) This species also found the amputation of limbs to be sexually attractive. (PROSE: Lucifer Rising)
