eBay was an online auction and shopping website. It was used by some people to sell alien items and artefacts.
Toshiko Sato found and purchased a Bekaran deep-tissue scanner while shopping for shoes on eBay. (PROSE: Another Life)
Eugene Jones discovered a Dogon Sixth Eye and, convinced it was a genuine alien artefact, hoped to sell it on eBay. The auction closed at £15,005.50, which thrilled Eugene until he learned that his friends Josh and Gary had made the high bids to boost the price and accidentally made the final bid.
