When Peter Capaldi was announced as the 12th Doctor, I have thought of what could happen in series 8. I think his Doctor is going to scare his enemies a lot judging from his dark looks. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDGzzGRKukE That look he gives at the end will certainly cause an army of Daleks to turn and run away. Seriously, fantastic choice of casting, and I am hotly anticipating Series 8 in 2014.

By the way, is it just me, but does he look like the Valeyard???

And the Valeyard is who the Master says he is; An amalgamation of the darker sides of the Doctor's personality between his twelfth and final incarnation. A Doctor 12.5.

I been thinking about this: If John Hurt's Doctor was the real ninth incarnation, this wound cause confusion, so this could be possible evidence that Hurt is simply 8.5.

And since it looks like Peter's Doctor is going to be dark, my guess is is that in the following series, Clara is gonna try and prevent him from becoming the Valeyard since she would know who he is since she was following the Sixth Doctor in the timestream.
