Makron was a Shoaly on the planet Hydron. He was a low swimmer who helped the Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond when they were searching underwater inside The Verne. His father was a member of the assembly in Reef, the capital city. The Doctor gave him a translating device to help him speak to the humans. (PROSE: The Underwater War)
