{{Vrec/doc}} is a template that allows you to easily make a recommendation at T:VREC. It's super-easy to use. Just just follow this pattern: {{vrec|YouTube video number|Tardis page on which you think it should go|Name of the YouTube account on the video}}
Here's a practical example. Let's say the video you were trying to recommend had the url of:
You grab just the number after ?v=
, or e1lAHEaOg6w. Then you plug it into the above format, thus:
{{vrec|e1lAHEaOg6w|The Name of the Doctor (TV story)|BBCAmericaTV}}
which results in
- A video good for The Name of the Doctor (TV story) provided by BBCAmericaTV
Please make sure you specify all three variables. If you don't, the template will loudly alert you to the fact you've forgotten to enter things, like so:
- A video good for a page which the nominating user didn't specify (please go back and tell us which page you think needs this video) provided by a YouTube account which the nominating user didn't specify (if you do not specify the account, your recommendation will not be considered at all)
Admin cannot proceed with incomplete recommendations.
