In the end of the world, jabe sacrificed her life to help the doctor. Was it absolutely necessary that she diee? When the doctor knew jabe would die from the heat, why didn't he go get one of the other guests who wouldn't die from the heat as they weren't made from wood to hold down the lever? Or surely with all the unlimited functions of the sonic, why couldn't he use something on that? Just seems a waste to me. --Coop3 ☎ 21:52, September 5, 2013 (UTC)

:Oh, right, run back up all the way to the observation room and then all the way back down with someone who has just begun comprehending what's been going on behind the scene the entire time, by which time the Sun would have swallowed the Earth and Platform One. Besides, "where the Doctor goes, death follows" is often made an important theme that is sometimes called up against him (like with Davros). And the "unlimited" sonic functions probably hadn't been written into the story yet, as everyone recalled its being written out early in the 5th Doctor's life for being too useful in such scenarios. —BioniclesaurKing4t2 - "Hello, I'm the Doctor. [[Special:Contributions/BioniclesaurKing4t2|Basically, . . . --Coop3 21:52, September 5, 2013 (UTC)
