The Alliance Wars (or Frontier wars) were fought by the Cyrrhenic Empire.
The emperor Graff Vynda-K is supposed to have led them.
Some of the battles were fought on the planets Skaar, Freytus and Crestus Minor. (TV: The Ribos Operation)
