In episode Secrets of the Stars she was revealed to be a Gemini and as such was one of the first to be taken over by Truman and the Ancient Lights. Gita Chandra was the wife of Haresh Chandra, and mother of Rani Chandra. She moved into Bannerman road with her family when children where being abducted by a clown known as Odd Bob the Clown. When she first met Sarah Jane Smith she told her that Rani wanted to be a Journalist like Sarah and believed Rani to be doing work experience with Sarah as she was defeating the Pied Piper.
