SmallerOnTheOutside has suggested the name CID officer. If this is actually the way the officer is credited, and "Criminal Investigation Department" never appears in story (even on doors or other set decoration) then replace this message with {{speedy rename}}.

The Criminal Investigation Department officer was a policeman studying the Life knife. In 2007, Gwen Cooper asked him about it, and he showed her a reconstruction. (TV: Everything Changes)
