President Bernice Summerfield was a clone of the real Bernice Summerfield who became President of Earth.
She was created as part of a plot to take over the Earth government, and was sent to kill her, but thanks to Bernice herself and Kadiatu Lethbridge-Stewart, she was able to overcome her programming and gain independence. She was eventually elected President of Earth. (AUDIO: The Final Amendment)
