Cheng-Ting, now known as metropolis Chongqing (重庆), was a city in 13th century China. (TV: Marco Polo). In Cheng-ting, Marco Polo suggested that the caravan must speed up, a seemingly sensible suggestion since they have deviated off-course by more one thousand kilometers since leaving Lan-Chow.
