A time corridor is a form of time travel in which a wormhole is created through the Time Vortex. It was generally considered less advanced than other time travel technologies such as TARDISes. Time corridors were primarily used by the Daleks. (DW: The Evil of the Daleks, Resurrection of the Daleks, Remembrance of the Daleks)

The Doctor once noted that the technology was "Very crude and nasty" (Remembrance of the Daleks) it's unclear if this is a comparison to the massively more advanced Tardis or in comparison to general time travel devices.

In the case of the renegade Daleks the system was controlled by a small spherical device. This took sometime to charge and was disabled by the Doctor in seconds (Though not permenantly possibly to leave these Daleks a way off world if the imperials failed to wipe them all out, since he states he doesn't want to lumber Earth with a load of desperate daleks. The Daleks would probably go since as the Doctor had informed Ace earlier, at this point in history the Daleks would at least "think twice" before radically altering the timeline)

In emergencies craft travelling within a time corridor could deploy an escape time corridor which could latch onto familial technology. (BFA: The Time of the Daleks)
