Some users have requested over time a user infobox for use in the user namespace which works along the same principles as the infoboxes in the main namespace. If you just want to use this one out of the box, cut and paste the following code onto your user page:

Adapting for your own use
If you'd like to create your own infobox, just cut and paste the code you find here onto a subpage of your user page (that is, a page with a format of User:YourName/Subpage name. Then, on your own user page, you can call the template by simply typing
