Enemy of the Bane is the sixth and final serial in series 2 of The Sarah Jane Adventures
Synopsis
Part 1: Gita vanishes and Sarah Jane encounters an unwelcome face from the past - Mrs Wormwood - as the children's drama series, produced by Russell T Davies, continues.
Now hunted by the Bane, Mrs Wormwood needs Sarah Jane's help to foil their plan to take over the galaxy with an ancient alien power. And Sarah Jane also needs help - from the Brigadier.
Part 2: Mrs Wormwood and Kaagh reveal their true colours, in the concluding episode of this two-part adventure.
Sarah Jane and the gang, meanwhile, find themselves in a race against time when Luke is kidnapped and they discover they have a hidden enemy amongst them.
Only the Brigadier can save the day, before a final showdown at an ancient stone circle ensues.
Plot
Mrs Wormwood returns but she's being hunted by her own kind, The Bane who are working with the the Sontaran Commander Kaagh. Mrs Wormwood needs help from Sarah Jane who also needs the help of her old friend former UNIT Brigadier Sir Alistair Gordon Lethbridge Stewart.

- As with series one, the villains in the final story also featured in the opening story. In series one the Slitheen were in the first story Revenge of the Slitheen and returned in the last story of that series The Lost Boy. This time the Sontaran Commander Kaagh is in The Last Sontaran and this story.

- Luke has strange dreams of a woman calling him. This may be Mrs Wormwood.
- Luke will meet his father a Bane (The Bane that created him) and will be presuaded to turn against Sarah Jane. (In the Mark of the Beserker, Carla Langer tells Luke if his father ever comes back not to forget his Mum.)
