Jamie McCrimmon used quick-set plastic to put the Wheel's x-ray laser out of commission. It was kept in a container resembling a perfume bottle and could be easily sprayed wherever desired. According to Jarvis Bennett, it wrecked the sensitive electronic equipment in a matter of seconds. (TV: The Wheel in Space)
