Mrs Wormwood had a sonic disruptor to fight off the Bane, it was in the form of a ring. She used this also on Gita Chandra to put her in a trance. It only stunned the Bane but i gave her enough time to escape.
Mr Smith contained her in a containment vortex and that drained her sonic disrupter. (SJA: Enemy of the Bane)
