Cybus Industries also provided the main communications network in that reality. Features of their service included the 'daily download' which downloaded news, sport, and other things into the customers' brains via earpods. Other features included internet access, although as this is only seen on Rose's mobile phone, it is uncertain how it works on the earpods. Cybus Industries also purchased other companies and helped their owners develop their businesses. Pete Tyler was working for Cybus Industries.
