Wyatt Earp was the marshal of Tombstone, Arizona in October 1881. He and his friend Doc Holliday had several conflicts with Ike Clanton and his brothers.

When the First Doctor was mistaken by the Clantons for Holliday, Earp put him in gaol for his safety. Earp and Bat Masterson rescued Steven Taylor from the Clantons, and Earp arrested Phineas Clanton.

Earp's brothers Virgil and Warren came to Tombstone to help Earp deal with the Clantons, but Warren was killed in the jailbreak of Phineas Clanton.

Earp took part in the gunfight at the O.K. Corral, which he and Holliday won. (TV: The Gunfighters)
