On 31 December 1999, the motorcycle policeman tried to stop the Eighth Doctor and Grace Holloway from getting past the roadblock. He was distracted when the Doctor produced a jelly baby from nowhere. The Doctor stole his gun and threatened to shoot himself. Grace then took the gun and shot at the the policeman's motorbike. She demanded the policeman to give the Doctor the bike's keys. They then left on the policeman's bike so that they could find a beryllium chip that would repair the TARDIS. (TV: Doctor Who)
