The Mistress was a robotic computer, in the form of a screen, with a Uvodni woman inside.

She was wired into a Uvodni Warship, and was ordering Uvlavad Kudlak to kidnap human children to fight in the Ghost Wars.

Kudlak thought she was real, and only sending a hologram, but this was not the case. Although the war was over, she hid the transmissions from the Uvodni Emperor from Kudlak, to make him think the war wasn't over. She wanted soldiers, because peace doesn't "compute".

After Sarah Jane Smith revealed who the Mistress really was, Kudlak killed the computer in his anger. (SJA: Warriors of Kudlak)
