Alonzo Frame was a midshipman on board the spaceship Titanic from the planet Sto. He was shot by Captain Hardaker, but survived. He also helped the Doctor, in trying to save the spaceship from crashing into the Earth. (DW: Voyage of the Damned)

According to Doctor Who Magazine, Frame was set to return as a full companion in (DW: The Stolen Earth / Journey's End) Tovey had to decline as he had other work on. The magazine also stated that if Frame had returned he would have been exterminated by the Daleks.[source needed]
