The secondary weapon of the cybus Cybermen, the wrist blaster was a retractable weapon housed within the Cybermans forearm. It consisted of a small segmented steel gun that fired a red partical discharge that could kill a human instantly. The wrist guns were introduced but not used during 'the Age Of Steel' but were first used during 'Army of Ghosts'. The guns were completely ineffective against Dalek force fields and this is the main reason that the Cybermen suffered so many casualtes during the Battle Of Canary Wharf. The gun was connected with the Cybermans vision circuits to ensure precision in aim and its effects againt other Cybermen are unknown.
