Von Weich was the name used by a War Lord posing as a major in the German Army in their simulated version of World War I. He used his "monocle" to implant suggestions into the minds of his subordinates. (TV: The War Games) When he posed as a captain in the version of the American Civil War, he used the name Beauregard Lee. (PROSE: The Eight Doctors) He tried to capture the Second Doctor and his allies, but was himself taken by the resistance. He was shot and killed by Private Moor. (TV: The War Games)
