The Doctor discovers a crack in Rusty's casing which leaked radiation and successfully rectifies it with his [[Sonic screwdriver]] but this caused Rusty to regain it's murderous intentions and goes on a killing spree and contacts the other Daleks. Journey and Clara then go to Rusty's memory banks where Clara activates the memories and with the Doctor linking with Rusty and convincing it to see the beauty of the universe, it also saw the Doctor's hate for the Dalek race and deems it good, Rusty then turns good again and proceeds to exterminate the other Daleks on Aristotle. After returning to their normal sizes, the Doctor and Clara go to leave in the TARDIS where Journey asks the Doctor if she can join him, although her bravery is noted by him, he turns her down because of the fact that she is a soldier.
