Barclow is a dirty, unappealing planet in the Fostrix galaxy. The sky is grey, the planet is muddy and there is no native life. The planet's usable atmosphere is only in a thin, 50 mile belt.
Despite this, Barclow was the cause of a war that lasted over 120 years (though not the most enthusiastic war). Though originally discovered by the Chelonians near the end of the Humanian Era, the humans from Metralubit found it shortly after. Though neither side especially wanted a war, they were influenced into setting up bases and preparing for it. But since the planet was so unwanted, the humans were able to stall for time with bureaucratic red tape. In the meantime, the human and Chelonian soldiers got along well and developed a deep friendship.(DW: The Well-Mannered War.)
