Juliet Landau (born 30 March 1965) voiced an incarnation of Romana in the Big Finish Gallifrey audio stories Renaissance and Ascension and the Companion Chronicle Luna Romana. Her father is Oscar-winning actor Martin Landau and her mother is Barbara Bain, both of whom are remembered for their roles on Mission: Impossible and Space: 1999.

Landau is best known for playing the role of Dru in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer franchise, in which she co-starred with James Marsters.

Born in Los Angeles, she and Eric Roberts are the only Americans to date to be cast as Time Lords.

After Mary Tamm and Lalla Ward, she is the third actress to play Romana. (She is not, however, playing Romana III; that incarnation, featured in the BBC Eighth Doctor Adventures novels, has yet to be portrayed by any actress.)
