Rename[[edit source]]

The rename tag states:

This is a species - and we are writing species articles as singular. I think this article should be named Dalek of human origin.

Whilst the intro to the article states:

"Daleks of human origin" was a broad term that encompassed a range of different creatures related to the Daleks.

The category this article sits in is Category:Dalek variants.

The intro suggests that this article is trying to cover the broad umbrella term. So a plural would be acceptable as it's covering various instances of Daleks that are not of Kaled origin.

Any name for this article is going to be awkward.

The intro from the Dalek article reads:

Daleks were the armoured, mutated descendants of the Kaleds of the planet Skaro.

This article is basically about Daleks that 'aren't any those things (except the armoured bit).

One other question is should this article have conjecture tag? As I'm not sure if the term "Daleks of human origin" is ever used in DW? --Tangerineduel / talk 13:21, December 5, 2013 (UTC)
