::The picture is indeed a screenshot&mdash;I can confirm that since I took it myself. As regards the watercolour illustration, I'm not the one who uploaded it in the first place (that was Nightsky, apparently). However, I can tell you that it's in fact a genuine historical, public domain document that was used in the episode. The only thing is that the uploader took it from Wikimedia Commons instead of using a screenshot. --<span style="font-variant: small-caps; font-family: Trebuchet; font-size: 12px"><span style="color:darkred;">Lelal Mekha</span></span> (Parlour) 19:19, September 17, 2014 (UTC)

:::Great, so the hat image is fine.
:::As for the watercolor, if someone could get a clear image of it as used in the episode, it can be uploaded and used here. The PD image, though legally allowed, is not allowed on the wiki for in-universe articles; probably when it was uploaded back in 2008, the policy allowed it. Revision as of 21:14, 17 September 2014

I think it should be called Jeggorbax Entity, seeing as Pied Piper isn't it's name, just an alias. Pied Piper is as canonical as Odd Bob or Elijah Spellman. Bigredrabbit 07:09, October 6, 2009 (UTC)

Could he be the same Entity as the one in the Doctor Who adventure games? They both feel the need to feed, and in his final moments Spellman/Odd Bob/ Pied Piper seems to be a glowing form, much like The Entity.

That was me above, btw. I call myself HeraldOf TheBeast, but wikia wont let me make an account.

It's referred to as "Jeggorbax Energy Entity" in the special features of the Sarah Jane Adventures series 2 DVD. -DaPower 19:07, May 13, 2014 (UTC)

New picture proposal

Wouldn't it be appropriate to include a picture of the creature's Pied Piper form "in the flesh?" I already took the liberty to add the watercolour illustration to the Hamelin article, since it at least depicts the town. But I think the article on the entity itself could use another picture in the "abilities" section: that one would fit nicely. If nobody objects, I'm going to make the change. --Lelal Mekha Rassilon seal.jpg (Parlour) 18:20, September 17, 2014 (UTC)

Are you sure that hat picture is a screenshot and not a promotional image? I haven't seen the episode in a while so I don't know for sure. He appears to be looking straight at the camera, which is often (though not always) a clue that an image is a promotional image.
And what is the source of the watercolour image? You didn't give it a screenshot license, and if it's not a screenshot from a DWU story, it's not allowed on an in-universe page.
Off-topic, if I am correct, you will have to remove the image from your signature. Per Tardis:Signature Policy, signature images are limited to 12px in height.

The picture is indeed a screenshot—I can confirm that since I took it myself. --Lelal Mekha (Parlour) 19:19, September 17, 2014 (UTC)
Great, so the hat image is fine.
As for the watercolor, if someone could get a clear image of it as used in the episode, it can be uploaded and used here. The PD image, though legally allowed, is not allowed on the wiki for in-universe articles; probably when it was uploaded back in 2008, the policy allowed it.
