Steve Thompson wrote the Doctor Who stories The Curse of the Black Spot, Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS, and Time Heist. Before and during his involvement in Doctor Who, he collaborated with Who writers Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss on their modern-day adaptation of Sherlock, having written or co-written several episodes which aired between 2010 and 2014.
