The National Trust is a human organisation, which was dedicated to preserving the Earth and everything in it. They own many natural areas.
After the last Humans left the Earth in the Ark (DW: The Ark) the National Trust set up Gravity satellites to hold back the Sun and restored the Earth into its "classic state". In the year 5.5/Apple/26 they ran out of money, so they let the Sun destroy the Earth. (DW: The End of the World)
