Behind the scenes

  • According to The Brilliant Book 2012, a book that contains non-narrative based information, it was a Galaxy class luxury liner of the 44th century, and its name was "The Thrasymachus." Amy Pond and Rory Williams honeymooned on it. It boasted a replica of an Earth tropical resort, Neo-Latin dance lessons, organised space walks, a fun park for young children, a honeymoon suite with a package tour to nearby moons, fine dining by the famed TV star Gourmandroid X7, McClintock burger outlets and a 1953-style fast food bar. Their brochure boasted that you could "tear up your Space War II ration book" on the Thrasymachus.
