Daphne Heard (1 August 1904-22 June 1983) played Martha Tyler in the Doctor Who serial Image of the Fendahl.
She is perhaps best remembered for her role as Richard DeVere's mother, Mrs. Polouvicka, in the sitcom To the Manor Born (1979-1981).
