The planet Barcelona is a planet which is inhabited by dogs with no noses. (DW: The Parting of the Ways, Children in Need Special)
- Judging by the year in which the Doctor wished to arrive (5006), Barcelona may be a Human colony planet (as humanity had spread into Mutter's Spiral by the 51st century), which may explain why the planet shares its name with an Earth city. The dogs there may have been descended from Earth dogs brought by the settlers.
