I just committed the sin of creating a redirect to this article from an alternate spelling - specifically "St." with a period. Such usage is common outside the UK, but I've also seen this story frequently spelled with a period too. Does anyone have access to a source (script, official source) to confirm the BBC doesn't use a period? The discrepancy is very, very likely the reason why ''[[The Bells of Saint John (TV story)|The Bells of Saint John]]'' is spelled out. Wasn't 'the first time The Doctor faced a double' in series 2 episode "The Death of The Doctor", where he fought the Dalek copy of himself? Does that not count since it was created and not an unique entity?

St. or St?

I just committed the sin of creating a redirect to this article from an alternate spelling - specifically "St." with a period. Such usage is common outside the UK, but I've also seen this story frequently spelled with a period too. Does anyone have access to a source (script, official source) to confirm the BBC doesn't use a period? The discrepancy is very, very likely the reason why The Bells of Saint John is spelled out. 70.72.197.66talk to me 13:43, July 2, 2013 (UTC)

First time?

Wasn't 'the first time The Doctor faced a double' in series 2 episode "The Death of The Doctor", where he fought the Dalek copy of himself? Does that not count since it was created and not an unique entity?
