Joseph Buller was a London cab driver. In 1889, he blamed Li H'sen Chang for his wife Emma Buller's disappearance, but before he could report to the Metropolitan Police Service, Chang had Mr Sin kill him. The pathologist Professor George Litefoot later performed an autopsy on him.

Prior to their deaths, he and his wife lived at 14 Fish Lane with her mother. (TV: The Talons of Weng-Chiang)
