Karnex was a former President of Stronghaven. He was assassinated. However, he was still able to terrorise his successor, Vallon, and stopped him from deploying security forces to protect the city. He also possessed Vallon's successor Meera. He controlled his assassin Nia Brusk to assassinate them. He funded a science project in his presidency so that after his assassination he became a non-corporeal entity, and wanted to become god. He used the psychic isotopes he used to copy his "soul" to control the dead of Garrick. He could control people via these isotopes which were absorbed into people's bone marrow. (AUDIO: Army of Death)
