Bollywood

Bollywood was a film-making community on Earth, roughly equivalent to Hollywood, but for Indian film.

When Fitz suggested Anji Kapoor sit in a foldaway canvas chair for "that authentic Hollywood touch" at the premiere of a movie they'd made together on her Mac, she corrected him with the word, "Bollywood". She was somewhat surprised at her own pedantry, given that she'd spent most of her life running away from her cultural heritage. However, since the TARDIS was then adrift between realities, she was clinging to anything "real" from her own version of Earth. (PROSE: Timeless)

The name "Bollywood" carried forward into humans' colonisation of space. The planet BollyWorld was named after Bollywood. (PROSE: Peacemaker) The Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond once visited a planet which seemed to have been influenced by Bollywood culture (or, alternatively, was the source of Bollywood culture).
