St Jude's Church was an old church in Maiden's Point. A flask containing Fenric was buried underneath the church. The priest at St Jude's in 1943 was Reverend Wainwright. Ace and the Seventh Doctor commented that its construction was more like a fortress than a church. This architectural feature was fortuitous, as St Jude's was later attacked by Haemovores.
