Professor Ralph Cornish was director of the British Space Programme. He had revitalised the British Rocket Group with technology from International Electromatics, and co-ordinated the Mars Probes launched by Great Britain. He was interviewed by James Stevens of the Daily Chronicle. (MA: Who Killed Kennedy)
Cornish later helped the the Doctor and UNIT stop General Carrington from starting a war between Earth and an alien race. (DW: The Ambassadors of Death)
