The Valethske were a fox-like species.
The Valethske worshipped the Khorlthochloi as gods when they had a galactic empire. The Khorlthochloi decided that they were becoming too aggressive and created a plague specific to the Valetheske, wiping most of the race out. The survivors rebuilt their culture, and several set out on the Great Mission, a centuries-long quest to find and destroy the Khorlthochloi. (PROSE: Superior Beings)
Professor Hamilton Smith had a number of theories about the Valethske. (PROSE: Dry Pilgrimage)
