A SAM drone was a robarman (robot barman) at the bar on the Scientifica colony planet where the Seventh Doctor met Ziyou Wanle. When a wardroid came to arrest Wanle for violating Planetary Emergency Directive Three, the drone told the Doctor about the droid's reset switch, enabling him to deactivate it. (PROSE: Cold Fusion)
