Kantrians, or Cantryans, were orange-skinned humanoids with three stubby fingers on each hand and thin blood. Their species originated on the tropical paradise planet Kantra, though they preferred shade.

Though they were not very religious, Kantrians did have rituals and ceremonies, particularly involving the dead. Non-Kantrians were not permitted to services where the bodies of deceased Kantrians were put in laser furnaces for cremation.

By the 39th century the Kantrians were a part of the Galactic Federation, with one of their own serving as the Chair. (PROSE: Legacy)

One Kantrian had been captured by the Daleks and forced to work on Skaro, where he died from exhaustion. (TV: Destiny of the Daleks)
