The Great Escapes was the tenth short story in the Short Trips anthology Short Trips: Defining Patterns. It was written by Simon Guerrier. It featured Lucie Miller.

Summary

Lucie has been imprisoned after the Eighth Doctor was shot down by robot soldiers, and makes a daring escape, fearing that the Doctor has been killed. However, just when all hope seems lost, the Doctor returns to rescue her.
