Baron Denton de Kay Leigh was a landowner on Armstrong's Colony. One of his servants was Venetia Dalborough.
Denton had trouble with bandits and raiders, and called on the Seventh Doctor for help. While Denton entertained the Doctor, Ace and Hex, Hex began experiencing odd time shifts due to the Doctor's tracker that Venetia had stolen. After time was restored, the Doctor decided not to respond to Denton's plea for help, leaving him to "deal with his bandits on his own". (PROSE: These Things Take Time)
