When the First Doctor, Susan, Ian, and Barbara arrived, Itennu decided to frame them for killing Menkaure. However, an assassination attempt by one of Itennu's men was thwarted when the Doctor blocked a poison dart with his cane. Right afterwards, a fight commenced between Menkaure's men and Itennu's.
