Captain Jimmy Turner was a UNIT officer who served under Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart during the Cyberman invasion of Earth in 1975. (TV: The Invasion)
Shortly after this, Jimmy married Isobel Watkins, and was posted to Sri Lanka (PROSE: The Scales of Injustice), where he was promoted to major. (PROSE: The Devil Goblins from Neptune)
