Kira (or Sima) is a Time Lady who survived the Time War. She was born on Earth to a human family as a human, but 'grew' back into a Time Lady in the later years of her life.

Biography

Born on Gallifrey and again on Earth, not much is known about this Time Lady, except for the fact she survived the Time War. Her human age is 27, but her real age is not known. She carries a time-traveling device similar to Captain Jack Harkness's Vortex Manipulator with her at all times that she built herself.

Pre-Time War

Kira before the War worked in the Capital as a 'Time Manger' fixing and preventing paradoxes. She was also known by the Lord President as an adviser for her gift of sometimes seeing across time and space, which was given to her by the vortex itself. She attended the Academy along with her twin brother, Sed, as well as in the same year as the Doctor. It is know yet known if she and the Doctor knew each other, then.

She left in the first year of the Time War as one of her visions had predicted the destruction of Gallifrey.

Post-Time War

After seeing her vision of Gallifrey being lost in the War. She stole a TARDIS and made an attempt to make herself human, but at the same time her TARDIS was struck by a Dalek Battle Cruiser and destroyed. The end result, caused her to be reborn on planet Earth in the year 1994 to a Human family, losing her memories and her physiology.

She later started to regain them in her teens due to the human 'hormones' of growing up.

She met the Doctor in her early teens in a fight with one of the last Slitheen. She was hit in the head therefore forgot the experience, only until she met the Doctor again at the age of 26. She has been known to have worked for Torchwood, twice. Once before, she started her own agency and after, when it was destroyed by the Doctor. The Doctor left at her saying that she would be too unstable traveling with him and therefore left behind with Captain Jack Harkness.

After a year, she was sent through the Rift by a race from the planet Terra-Delta (an older Earth-like planet at one of the ends of the Rift). She lands on Satellite 5 and meets a younger just-abandoned version of Captain Jack. She travels back in time with him to December, 1869 (her wristband did not have time-travel abilities then). She, regretful promise to visit Jack every 20 years, but this does not happen to the unreliability of the Rift and 'scrapped' parts.

She ends up bumping into Torchwood in 1909, spooking Martha Jones in 1969, and being deleted by Cybermen in 2006. The Doctor after reviving her agreed to let her join him in his travels aboard the TARDIS.
